Joanna L. Spears, M.Ed.
Joanna L. Spears has been a fierce advocate for children's academic and social-emotional needs for over 20 years. Joanna's extensive professional background includes program management for youth and families in non-profit and community-based organization settings. Coupled with a deep commitment to improving systems that serve children in need, her community work inspired her to become an educator and leader in the K-12 academic world. ​

Her unique personal and professional expertise spans beyond traditional education systems, confirming her belief that academic excellence is influenced by much more than mastery of subject matter. She uses a multi-faceted approach when working with children and families. Joanna’s keen insight helps her influence a student's ability to learn and grow. She has the natural ability to build a strong and trusting relationship with each of her clients, which inevitably creates a foundation for long term learning and engagement in goal setting.
